I am fascinated by the play of opposing forces. Studying the mastery of freedom and how to dance with existence whatever form it takes. Freedom of the mind especially but also of the physical. Martial arts satisfies this hunger. I have learned a little here and there along the way, and now have discovered a brilliant American martial art called Guided Chaos. Having had war with chaos in my own life it is an answer I couldn’t have imagined and which resides beyond my wildest expectations. It is a fundamental paradigm shift to go from managing or responding to chaos to being the one who guides it. To not stand in opposition but to be in the flow with it. I am just a beginner, but I am already enamored. It’s like finding the center of the yin yang, completely defying description. It was developed and established by a true master, John Perkins. My teachers are Joe Martarano, Michael Watson, Tina Dawn, and the rest of the GC community. Guided Chaos is something I have been searching for my whole life without consciously understanding what I was looking for. The answer to a question my heart has asked.
