In the visual arts Jet has explored drawing (pastels, pencil, charcoal, ink, graphite, marker), painting (oils, ink, watercolor, acrylic), calligraphy, sculpture (wood, soap, stone, paper, ceramic), pottery, jewelry making, welding, textile, and costume design. She took a break from her quest to understand reality to attend the Cooper Union School of Art in 1999. She loved being there, but could not deny the knowledge she had of her own fundamental ignorance about existence and about herself. It didn’t make any sense at the time to build a career on that ignorance, so after a year she left to continue her quest - burning her talent on the alter of the unknown. She left her art behind and walked her path. But when she got lost her art returned to her to light the way. Now, two decades later, she is ready to share it.
